Andrew Marsh (Massage Therapist)

Andrew Marsh is a 2007 graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in the 2-year, 1100-hour Clinical Massage program. There he received extensive training including neuro-muscular therapy, acupressure/meridian therapy and was chosen as a tutor in Kinesiology of the Trunk and Extremities. Andrew Marsh began exploring his interest in the healing arts while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Comparative Religion at Ithaca College. During this time he explored academically and experientially the traditions and philosophies that have shaped his own practice.His focus is the treatment and management of chronic pain utilizing a wide variety of techniques and approaches suited to each individual with whom he works. Prior to receiving massage training, Andrew practiced as a Reiki Master/Teacher for several years in the Ithaca, New York area. He believes in the balancing of ancient eastern practices, intuitive and meditative awareness with scientific and practical applications of western anatomical understanding to create a thoroughly healing and transformational massage experience. Andrew is also a singer, pianist and performance artist in the area.
